Services

The school counselor offers a variety of services. A focus is put on direct services such as counseling sessions and guidance classes. Other services include consulting with faculty and parents, coordinating parent meetings, and helping with school-wide events and programs. 

Group/Individual Counseling

Group counseling sessions will be offered at various times of the year. Topics include developing social skills, lifting self-esteem, overcoming stress/anxiety, etc. 
Individual counseling sessions occur on a case by case basis and are typically short term.

Student Assistant Teams

Student Assistant Teams are put together when there is an academic or behavioral concern for a student who may need some extra interventions. 

Consultation

Teachers and parents can consult with the counselor when there are social, emotional, or behavioral concerns.

Guidance Classes

The counselor will see each class at least one time per week to discuss a variety of topics that will strengthen the students' character, work ethic, and academic success.
